Starting from August 20, Kanazawa University opened a limited-time childcare center for children of faculty and staff.
This was a trial initiative carried out in response to the results of a survey conducted by Institute for Promotion of Diversity and Inclusion, targeting individuals with children up to elementary school age, regarding childcare facilities and services at Kanazawa University.
On the first day, some children were a bit bewildered during drop-off, but through activities like free play, cashless shopping experiences using apps, and experiments using bells to create shapes, they gradually began to open up and connect with one another.
Various programs such as science experiments, English conversation classes, and art workshops will continue to be offered until August 29.
