Kanazawa University conducted exchanges with students from the University of the Philippines Manila and Hai phong Medical University in Vietnam

Students from the College of Medicine at the University of the Philippines Manila visited Kanazawa University from July 24th to 30th. During their stay, they participated in a variety of programs, including observing surgery at the Hepato-Biliary-Pancreatic and Transplant Surgery Department at Kanazawa University Hospital, and cultural experiences at Kenrokuen Garden, Kanazawa Castle, and Shirakawa-go. These activities were planned and organized mainly by students from the School of Medicine, College of Medical, Pharmaceutical and Health Sciences, Kanazawa University, who are members of the extracurricular group "International Medical Exchange Association."

On July 27, a student-led event, "Kanazawa International Healthcare Students Summit 2025," was held. A total of 17 students from the University of the Philippines Manila, Hai phong Medical University in Vietnam, and Kanazawa University took the stage and engaged in lively discussions on a wide range of topics, including healthcare systems, culture, and research.
