Advanced Research Center for Space Science and Technology (ARC-SAT) Honored with "Radio Day Merit Award" by Hokuriku Regional Bureau of Telecommunications

At the "Radio Day and Information Communications Month" commemorative ceremony held on June 2, 2025 at Hotel Kanazawa, the Advanced Research Center for Space Science and Technology (ARC-SAT), Institute of Science and Engineering, Kanazawa University was honored with the "Radio day Merit Award" as part of the Director-General’s Commendation from the Hokuriku Regional Bureau of Telecommunications.

The Director-General’s Commendation from the Hokuriku Regional Bureau of Telecommunications is presented to individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to the use of radio waves and the development of information and communications during the "Radio Day and Information Communications Month" commemoration ceremony held every June.

ARC-SAT was recognized for its significant contributions to the diffusion and development of radio technology in the Hokuriku region, including the launch and subsequent operation of the first experimental satellite test station in the Hokuriku region, the "KOYOH: The X-ray Transient Monitoring and Rapid Alert Satellite".
