Career Support Office held the "2025 Summer Internship Fair" organized by Kanazawa University at the Kakuma Campus on May 10 and 11 in person and on May 18 in online. A total of 259 companies and organizations exhibited their products and services, and many students, mainly 2nd and 3rd year undergraduate students, 1st year master's students, and 2nd year doctoral students, participated in the fair.

Students listened intently to explanations of internships and work experience programs to be held this summer. Students commented: "I was able to hear directly from the human resources manager of each company, and I was able to understand the attractiveness and enthusiasm of the job," "It was meaningful to learn not only the content of the internship but also the atmosphere of the people working there," "I was able to improve my awareness of job hunting and realize what I need to do before participating in the summer internship program," "I was able to broaden my career options by learning about companies where I can make use of my major field of study," and "I was able to listen to the lecturers without being nervous because the event was limited to our university students." In addition, a kitchen car booth was set up as a new trial this year, and was well-attended by many students.

Some of the participants from lower grades said, "I was able to learn from my 1st year that various companies offer internships, and I look forward to my future as a student," and "I was able to meet companies in new fields that I would not have been aware of had I not participated, and it gave me an opportunity to think about my future career path."

The importance of participating in internships and work experience as an important step for students to broaden their perspectives, acquire a wealth of information, and start their job hunting is increasing every year. The number of companies and students participating in this event was the largest ever, making the event even more fulfilling than in previous years.

Career Support Office will continue to hold joint company information sessions, various information sessions and guidance sessions to contribute to career development and employment support for students.
