We are pleased to announce the winning teams of the 7th Japan Math A-lympiad held on November 24, 2012.
Japan Math A-lympiad is a Kanazawa University contest in which high school students from all over the country with outstanding math and English skills work as a team to take on global challenges that may occur in the real world.
This year, 114 teams with 434 participants from 42 high schools across the country participated in the competition! This year we record the largest number of participating teams! 10 teams were selected to receive awards.
Two teams who win the Grand Prize and the Prize for Excellence will be recommended and dispatched by Kanazawa University to represent Japan at the Math A-lympiad to be held in the Netherlands in mid-March 2025. In addition, all winners of the Excellence Award and above will be eligible to apply for the Chozen Special Entrance Examination (A-lympiad Selection).
The award ceremony is scheduled to be held in late March 2025.
